GRAND ROUNDS

Patient Engagement in a World of Medical Misinformation

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the health care field has seen major shifts in where patients go for health information and who they trust to deliver health-related content, creating opportunities for patients to consume and act on medical misinformation. This event will focus on what medical misinformation is, tactics for engaging with patients who have fallen for misinformation, and ways health professionals can work individually and collectively to ensure patients have easy access to evidence-based information.
